Finnish Energy Day

The Finnish Energy Club, the Finnish Ministry of Employment and the Economy and Finnish Energy Industries in collaboration with Grant Thornton LLC, PO “Energy Efficiency and Investment Association”, Municipal Energy and Development-Consulting company Garde have pleasure to invite You to take part in a Finnish Energy Day.
The Finnish Energy Day will showcase Finnish cutting edge technologies in energy sector. During the event all the participants will have an opportunity to get familiar with state-of-the-art technology. Due to Finland’s energy-intensive main industries, cold climate and long distances, Finland has invested in energy efficiency for decades and has achieved widely acknowledged results that can benefit also others.
The topics of the Finnish Energy Day will be:
- Presentation of Finnish Energy Operation Model which provides
- Most efficient and sustainable operation
- The lowest customer prices in Western Europe
- Highly profitable operation of energy utilities
- Good revenues to state through different energy taxes
- Very low emissions from energy production
- Finnish way of utilization of biofuels and renewables
